Triwood Mixed Use Residential

A project I designed as part of a senior research studio on mixed use residential redevelopment of inner ring suburbs in Calgary. The studio was aimed at finding design principals to increase density while maintaining a sense of community identity by fostering a greater sense of engagement with existing residents. The project features commercial/retail and live/work units at grade, a raised courtyard over a hidden parking lot and a row of live/work studio and workshop garage suites in the lane.
